while i'm not much of an FPS person these days, i picked up borderlands 3 cause it was on sale for super cheap, and my friend and i played the fluff out of the first two games together back in the 2010s. the humor in the games isn't always great, but i do enjoy the loot loop a lot

yeah the whole game feels like the rank and file really wanting to make something and management getting in the way tbh. superficially it's bl2 but it's like "what if borderlands 2 was made by people who followed queer furries on Twitter"
oh my gosh wow, now i'm suuper curious and eager for the friend i play the series with to set up his pc hehe
it's not that overt. but i will say most of the dlcs are... surprisingly tasteful and deep, along with the second half of the game
