i've been spending an unexpected amount of time in 12-TET for jamuary
i suppose it makes sense, cause it's a more familiar tuning, which makes quick and rough sketches go smoothly. like i don't have to load my MTS plugin, i don't have to place each note of the 31-EDO scale du jour on my piano roll, i'm not limited to my few synths that support microtonality, etc.
plus the consonance is nice sometimes! and i guess i've just also been in a silly-creative mood where i want to make goofy, funky VGM kinda stuff, and 12-TET lends itself well to that i fin
i'm still definitely making stuff in other tunings, cause pushing myself creatively is fun and rewarding, but ya, it can be fun to change things up!
