some person was zooming down a windy, one-lane road in the mountains yesterday, and they scared me a bit, but we were both able to stop with plenty of clearance. i guess it's helping me get over my anxiety about driving on the long one-lane road to big basin, because the scenario i was afraid of happened but it was ok!
the only problem with being a nature gay is driving on the weird roads in the middle of nowhere lol
that and being scared of bees (i hope the bee nest isn't still in the middle of the summit trail at big basin cause i really wanna do the full hike this year)
there's another big hike coming up that's gonna involve some potentially anxiety-inducing driving, but the hike is so awesome i'm gonna deal with it. i can't hecking wait, it's gonna be the best
