absolutely fantastic hike today. we made it to a summit with a view of the ocean, saw a family of quail, and walked down an incredibly verdant trail full of clover and fiddlehead fern, all in a huge redwood forest. i anticipated 2 hours on the trails but we stayed for over 5 because it was so out of control pretty
