it's me on a tree

today we took the day off and went to the forest of nisene marks, a redwood forest on the norcal coast. it was superbly quiet, there was a gorgeous creek, and we crossed it on a massive fallen tree

confession: we got a touch lost at one point, or at least we couldn't figure out the way forward, but it was easy enough just to turn back the way we'd come. thankfully my plant identification was correct and we walked through blackberry bushes, not poison oak
