as someone living in rural america yeah i think i’ll stick with my four year long international relationship instead trying to date local and falling victim to a state where queer people are spread pretty thin unless you live in two cities and the trans panic defense is still a valid legal argument for subverting murder charges thanks.
like don’t get me wrong long distance blows in a lot of way but it’s a much safer bet and sometimes you find the perfect person for u and it’s the only option. id love to pack up my most important stuff and move to australia tomorrow but it isn’t exactly financially feasible for either of us.
