solo. i initially tried playing co-op with amy and another friend who both nearly had beat the game at the time and they kinda just fucked around the entire time and soured my taste on the co-op lol
lol fair. i've been playing slowly with a full party of friends since launch and it's been real fun, it's basically like running through an actual D&D campaign except none of us has to DM and also sometimes we have to redo scenarios because something will softlock lol
yeah that sounds nice. it probably would be fun like that i just think they didn’t wanna pay too much attention and mess around during the beginning since they’d both played through it already. the one friend just kept casting spells and killing random npcs when i was in dialog which would pull me out of it so i got frustrated pretty quick. going at it on my own though has been lovely, i’ve never played an rpg before with this solid story telling and characters. it put every other non larian modern rpg to shame imo
i got ftl the day it came out when i was in my freshman year of high school and literally played it nonstop that entire weekend. it was my formative “holy shit indie games slap actually?” moment.
