I use a trick, since I'm in the same boat having used treble clef for decades. The bass clef notes (ignoring octave) are just the treble clef shifted down one full line. So if you see a bass clef note, just try to fuzz your brain into seeing it one line up. Really helps me with sight reading, since I have all that muscle memory for treble. Go plot like c4 and c2 on the bass staff to see, compared to c4 and c6 on treble
