there is an immense amount of anxiety in not wanting to break a piece of wood that’s like three hours of pay but needing to make physical irreparable changes to it. getting the neck to fit right was a challenge and it does wiggle a bit if u put a lot of force into it but i think guitar strings tension isn’t a ton of force anyway so it should be ok? like i wouldn’t trust bass string tension with my work here but worst case scenario it might just need some truss rod adjustment to get the intonation right. i did pretty ok with the hardware installation, ignoring the fact that the bottom strap button isn’t well aligned lol.
i’m back burnering the finish because ope i am indecisive! and am gonna look into figuring out the electronics because i honestly know nothing about guitar pickups aside from that they’re little magnets with copper wire circles that turn string wiggles into electron wiggles because if you wiggle metal near a magnet it makes the magnetic field do the same wiggles and then those wiggles cause electrons in the copper to also do a wiggle and you can then amplify that and make it into louder air wiggles??
