person on the line: “are you guys open?”
me internally: “i’m talking to you aren’t i?”
me: “yep until 8pm today”
person: “oh good i wanted to make sure i could pick up my scripts with thanksgiving and all.”

maybe they're Canadian (or otherwise non American) lol. I couldn't tell you when American Thanksgiving was supposed to be either, I just knew it was vaguely around this time and would disrupt some things
yeah that makes sense (always the fourth thursday in november btw), but like they had a midwestern accent and had a history of picking up with us on their file so it was just kinda puzzling lmao
