i have such a love hate relationship with youtube diy vids where the title is like “i made my own [thing] for $[shockingly reasonable amount of money]” making it seem pretty doable and then they proceed to whip out like tens of thousands of dollars worth of tools and decades of experience for their 50$ of raw materials lol
