i love king gizzard and the wizard lizard cause going through their albums is like thrash metal then the next one will be dream pop or maybe psychedelic rock and sure why not throw some jazz fusion in there. putting the entire discography on shuffle is such a wild ride there’s zero cohesion in style from album to album and it’s kinda wildly cool

people using a patrick bateman or walter white pic as a pfp is the ultimate red flag to me for someone who is about to make a totally unsubstantiated and unhinged art take with little to no media literacy

i finally figured a solid way to get the bass in the puter. since this new one has a built in preamp it pushes a bit more voltage than my og shortscale bass and it actually picks up super well on my desktop's audio interface without the amplifier in the signal chain. so the combo of the preamp and just bumping the output volume on the pedals a little bit and it's honestly pretty clear. i would try it with the amp in the chain as well but i need another 1/4" cable and i'm also kinda worried about pushing too high of a voltage into the audio interface. i also still need to figure out how to correctly filter out the slight noise though.
