someone finally made a not shit pixel art tool on ios and it has both my main palette i’ve been using for years and one that i’ve been playing around with more recently which is rad as hell given they don’t seem to be the most common palettes

oddly doesn’t include pico8, any of the dawnbringer palettes or a simple 2 bit gb dmg styled one (or any of the old school console palettes) all of which have all been kind of a mainstay of the palette list on basically every pixel art tool i’ve tried before. though importing from like lospec or aseprite seems easy enough

i take pride in my ability to admit when i’m wrong and honestly 2016 isabelle was dumb, air fryers aren’t a cooking gadget fad and actually slap so hard. i do still take issue with them being called fryers and not just countertop convection ovens. but eh win some lose some i suppose

like i’ve lived with my mom for most of my life who buys the dumbest “this will come in handy for the two times this decade when we cook this dish” gadgets and then maybe ends up using it one of the times if we’re lucky. and because of that waste i’ve kinda been lulled into this mindset of “i need my chefs knife, i need pots pans and nice stove/oven” and not really bothering to use much else aside from the microwave when i’m lazy.

but no i use this shit daily both when i’m making lazy quick meals after work or as like part of my process in actually cooking more complex dishes. and honestly the ease of access to kwik trip tier midnight nuggies when i’m stoned as shit without much risk of burning my house down or needing to get a dui is worth every penny on its own.

like it’s just the ultimate lazy cooking utensil. with a microwave you put something in that shit and it turns into hot mush or plasma with very little margin between but with an air fryer you can hit that sweet spot of nice crispy texture with it being pretty hard to under or over cook and that’s such a win.

but yeah basically impulse bought a bass cause a friend got me high and showed me bocchi the rock. i played a few instruments (primarily french horn) for like a decade but then hadn’t played an instrument since like 2017. it’s genuinely felt so lovely playing music again. and i feel like bass was such a perfect pick to get back in on
