I have listened to the new single off of Sus Dog and I am in full Clark mode. I relistened to Growl’s Garden and the Ted EP, and I’m currently going through Iradelphic.
I think the thing that always gets me about his music, whatever specific thing that he’s doing at the moment, is how secret and hidden every song feels. It feels like you were not meant to be there, and staying and listening is something you are getting away with. I feel jealous about listening to these songs - even though, of course, Clark is probably one of the most popular and successful musicians of his genre/time. It is hard to think of another artist that makes me feel this way.
