I am really enjoying the strive vibe right now. A lot of big streamers/pros are trying out different characters to try and answer all of each other’s alts or broken characters. It’s cool. There is a lot of good discussion when people are learning a lot.

Also by streamers I mean Walter and Lordknight lol. I realize that limita my pool, but from what I am seeing in brackets it seems like a lot of pros are trying different characters.

I continue to improve with Millia. I have taken the time to sit down and learn the BnB for those few situations when the relaunch combo is not ok. I am more consistently doing tk bad moon following CS. The mirror match feels like a joke so I am learning Zato now so I don’t have to put up with it 😭

I know at this point one of my huge issues playing Millia in Strive is my over-reliance on haircar for both grounded neutral and combo ending. I think I probably lose about ~15% of my games just because the other player knows how minus it is on block and gets a full 2K combo off of it (especially Sin, Nago, and Sol players). The problem is that like, a different 15% of players don’t know how to block haircar and so sometimes I am rewarded with endless free knockdowns, which is really bad for developing my sense of ‘this is unsafe don’t do it’. I know I should probably be practicing jump cancelling off of like, 5H and 2S. I also think 6K > Lust Shaker and cS > 2S > Lust Shaker are pretty safe, I just need to get the muscle memory there. Maybe I need to work on incorporating Mirazh as well.
