I picked up Ky yesterday. I’ve been trying this new policy where, if I get knocked down a floor, I have to try playing the character that put me there. So far this has resulted in me playing Leo, Axl, Giovanna, and now Ky. I don’t know if it’s because Ky is very beginner-friendly, or if he is similar to Millia (?), but I’ve been having a lot of fun with him. Having a DP is wild. Being able to far slash people from half the screen away is also very cool. I can’t do the microdash corner bnb yet but I will get there.

I continue to make progress with Millia, but I have definitely hit a very real plateau. I keep bouncing between floors 8-10, which is ok. I have been able to try the celestial challenge twice but it has been difficult both times. I think my biggest issue is I feel super uncomfortable on the ground, and my air movement tends to be a little predictable. The first match usually goes fine, but once people see what I'm doing they tend to start 6Ping me exactly when they need to.
I also tried to pick up Jack'O a little bit! She was the character I was first interested in until I saw Millia. She is very fun to play, even if I am not very good with her yet. She is definitely more interesting than Zato, who I was also trying.
I continue to improve with Millia. I have taken the time to sit down and learn the BnB for those few situations when the relaunch combo is not ok. I am more consistently doing tk bad moon following CS. The mirror match feels like a joke so I am learning Zato now so I don’t have to put up with it 😭
