found an old feature request on the feature request forum for data export functionality, which seems like an important (for GDPR compliance) and potentially useful feature to me

especially because, let's be honest, an indie platform like this could disappear very quickly if things go south, it would be nice to be able to quickly save everything in that event (or at least the text...)
not trying to be a downer, I love this place and have a $10 Cohost Plus sub haha, I'd love for it to be around for years, but you just truly never know.
I remember when canv.as shuttered, and they had to bolt this on at the last minute as a final gasp of air before they closed the servers for good.
And the way they implemented it, I remember they were only confident running it once the site was closed, and only for one week, because otherwise they anticipated someone would blow a hole in the server
