This absolutely tops the list of games I'd pay practically any amount of money to get my hands on. It's Cyber Soldier Sharaku, a Japanese adventure game for CD-i, by a tiny Mac game studio that made a few really great Hypercard games. There's a few minutes of footage of this on Youtube, which shows it's got absolutely excellent animation and what seems like a pretty interesting story. The director and primary artist would go on to found an indie art studio called Studio Mangosteen, who are still around today, and who made two of my all-time favourite computer games.
Of course the CD-i bombed horribly in Japan and this sold probably under 100 copies, so tracking it down is hard. It's undumped, and I've only seen a couple copies sell in the past decade. One of these days, maybe!
the really sadistic thing about like, making gifs from videos is that you don't need to rely on weird and maybe shady sites with a lot of limitations! there is a tool that can trim videos, crop videos, and convert them to gifs, and like five dozen other things besides! and it's COMPLETELY FREE AND LEGIT!!!
...the catch is, it's operated entirely through the command line.

Good news: You can make this worse for yourself by learning AviSynth, the video editing programming language of choice for Something Awful Lets Players in the early 2010's.
I have the cursed knowledge of situations in which I would want to use DirectShowSource instead of AviSource.
