So I'm back in Texas, where I grew up, but haven't spent much time here in the past ten years. I'm meeting up with old friends and I keep getting surprised by their accents! I do NOT remember them having Texan accents, like, at all. Guess it's one of those fish knowing they're wet kind of situations. Funny.

Now of course this has me worried: do my friends in Portland hear this when I talk?? Do I still sound like I'm from Texas??

I mean I once saw you give a detailed demonstration of like fifty kinds of linguistic sounds so I feel like if there's one person who knows if you sound like texas it's you! Iiiiii don't think I've talked to you in person recently enough to know from my pov though..
