Hahaha, I've just gotten into the Otherside Picnic LNs! They're a ton of fun to read, but I'm such a scaredy cat that I have to intersperse the LNs with happy fluff between each one. My favorite example of my growing unease from reading the books had to be the morning after I'd read the chapter where 3 "people" try to break into Kozakura's house. I was downstairs making coffee in the early morning, and suddenly heard a scrabbling noise like something scratching on a door that my brain immediately went, "THIS IS JUST LIKE WHAT HAPPENED TO KOZAKURA!" I stopped everything and started listening carefully, and then heard a series of thumps and saw my big dog coming down our wooden stairs and my wife saying, "I think you forgot to take someone with you!" Scared the shit out of me! 🤣 She good a good laugh at my jumping and shouting, "Oh, shit!"
