today is for gameboy games, like "HFTGOOM" by bundle co-founder taylor mccue, "small town emo" (pictured here), "yurivania" 0-2 by @mxashlynn, "lesbiants" by team member toni, and "pastoral" 1-3. i love the way these games use pixel art with intentional palettes.
these games look great anyway, but there's something wonderful about taking technology from the past -- whether as inspiration, or literally by using GB Studio and tools like it -- and telling queer stories that were not part of gameboy culture at the time.
