some photos from a hike i took with a friend yesterday. we hiked around "Henry's Ridge Open Space" near Ravensdale Lake (the lake in the 2nd picture)
the weather was perfect for a hike and the air was so clean!! slightly chilly until a light drizzle picked up and made it feel slightly colder in the last 15-20 minutes, which was perfect because it meant that getting into the car and warming up felt great. there were a lot of really beautiful trees and plants growing along the trails, as well as some very impressive fallen trees that were grown over over time. really cool stuff. next time i go for a hike i want to look up what kinds of edible plants are in the area before i go, and try to do some foraging
