playing Ferry in GBVS after spending years playing Katalina is so wild. i've gone from playing a super easy and straightforward shoto character to playing a technical zoner.

the biggest thing to adjust to is that while Kat can combo any single normal hit into one of her special moves, Ferry only really has one combo she can do off of a normal hit, with most of her damage and mix setup coming from a full autocombo or a counterhit. so i've been having to confirm not only the hits, but if it's a counterhit too.

Ferry is definitely more work but it's so satisfying to set up oki and run real mix in GBVS, a game that largely doesn't have mix. even just setting her little guy out and trying to push people into it and forcing them to block and take chip damage is fun... i've been enjoying the slow game. i'm trying to become the timer scam gamer
