What draws you to black mage in specific, in FFXIV? As a BLM main I both appreciate the dope acronym and the BIG CHUNKIES I do on health bars
i love finding the 2px by 2px space that a series of AOEs won't hit and then just parking my ass there and casting fire 4. i love putting my ley lines down in places that look scary and freaking out my party. i love greeding and trying to squeeze out just 1 more spell before i teleport to someone else who is actually respecting mechanics.
it just feels nice to stick to the rhythm of the job in general, it's always really satisfying to keep it going through a whole fight and not drop enochian or have to abort any phases early.
