i played the demo of rabbit & steel with some friends and it was a lot of fun. even on normal difficulty, the demo final boss felt like at least EX trial difficulty in terms of FFXIV design. so having something like that that's much easier to pick up with a group and is that engaging from the start seems great...
i loved maiden & spell and mino_dev did a great job adapting the systems from that (and bullet hell in general) into an mmo raid setting. their art and character designs are always so cute.
the roguelite stuff seems fun, with treasures that give you passive effects and a few different upgrades available for each of your class's 4 abilities it seems like you can get pretty varied builds.
i've only played heavyblade rabbit so far but i really enjoyed her. she functions kinda like Stormblood Dark Knight where you alternate between a beam that gives you a buff and a melee attack that spends the buff to do big damage, and her defensive skill creates an invulnerability field that your allies can use that also clears bullets in its area.
on one run, my defensive skill got an upgrade that made it delete bullets on 90% of the screen, and on another i got an upgrade that made it only affect me and the area immediately around me, but it had a chance to give me a 30% attack boost and a shorter cooldown.
i'll be grinding this game when it comes out so i hope to adventure with you in the future
