I wanted to write a bit about Final Fantasy XIV since I've spent a lot of time with it. Endwalker, its patch content, and the game's general formula and direction over the years have been kinda sad to me. I've been editing as I go but it's still kinda just messy thoughts style.
I'll probably touch on some of the most recent patch stuff, so spoilers for that I guess!
Summary: FFXIV is Liberal and I'm only getting more communist. Friends and external communities carry the game more than the game or its writing does on its own. The game is extremely formulaic and really needs some changes in the combat/structure (also let normal content be more difficult!)
