When you accept that anyone can be any gender they want and present however they want and seek any transition related procedures they want (while not getting the ones they dont want) you have to start also accepting that certain peoples sexualities wont be easily encapsulated by gender-related terms like gay, lesbian, straight or bi. There are nonbinary people out there who only date lesbian women and gay men, there are plenty of people who only date masculine or feminine presenting people without much regard for their gender, there are t4t people with all forms of preferences and exclusions. Not to mention the different ways someone may be polyamorous or monagamous.
Still idk if microlabels are a good solution for this. I really prefer open and honest communication with those you feel you should talk to about that sort of thing
