concept: A story focused on a group of unlikely allies who learn that there is much more to their world then they previously thought, unlock abilities they never knew they had, forging deeper bonds with each other, and unlocking the mysteries of the universe. Eventually, they learn that the universe, no the entire multiverse, was destined to be saved by a powerful individual. They wouldn't know of their destiny or their powers, but they would come to learn of both eventually through a series of trials and tribulations, much like the ones our protagonists have been on. And the big reveal is that the destined hero who will save the multiverse is...!
this all started from me thinking "wow, it's pretty crazy that whenever there's a group of random people who get caught up in something, one or more of them happens to be the chosen one(s). what if the chosen one was just some guy. Yes I know the lego movie did this but what if the guy never even tripped and fell onto a magical artifact? what if the guy was entirely uninvolved?"
