This reminds me, in a Jewish subreddit someone mentioned a bird hit their windshield and asked if they were allowed to interpret that in any way. People responded that the whole reason the Jewish Roman war was set off by Romans doing augery on the steps on the synagogue in Caesarea is because Jews are specifically forbidden from divining portents from birds.
