Reminds me of the one about the rabbi who sees a congregant enter a non-kosher restaurant. Incredulous, watching through the window, the rabbi watches as the congregant orders non-kosher food and begins to eat it. He can't help himself - he goes in to confront the congregant.
"Rabbi, did you see me come in here?"
"Yes!"
"Did you see me order this food?"
"Yes!"
"Did you see me eat this food?"
"YES!"
"So what's the problem? The whole thing is under rabbinic supervision!"
