DST is a pain in the ass for organising TTRPGs online, fucking nowhere does it at the same time, some places don't do it at all, every spring and autumn it's like 50:50 if people are an hour late or early no matter how much reminders and double checking happens

it gives me a headache from half the world away all the time even though i live in a place that doesnt do it. genuinely why is it still even a thing all the benefits are.... kinda Dubious At Best

It's good for business, but we can't have year-round DST because in the wintertime too many schoolkids were being hit by cars

Well, then parents need to adjust their schedules for after-school pickup and activities and they'd need to change school bus drivers' schedules and the work schedule of everyone who works at the school, and 4.8% of the US works at or for some kind of K-12 school, so that's in addition to parents, then there are all the teenagers who work and would need their work schedules adjusted...

I'd prefer permenant standard time tbh
