it seems like the Web Audio API AnalyserNode Fourier Transform thingy could read 480 kilobytes per second (assuming my guesswork math is correct, which it easily might not be. a lot of guesswork is going on because i dont want to touch code rn) which seems like a lot. I think my math might be wrong. thats 3 Megabits per second thats a lot. This would be with some (many) precision loss which isnt ideal but for my purposes is Good, Actually

I have no idea what amazing project this is but it totally reminds me of my way-past dream to just, reinvent dial-up but for the Nintendo DS. Communicate arbitrary data between two DS's, or between a DS and a computer, by pshht beep beep telephone sounds over microphone.
