God, engagement for non-bluechecks on twitter is in the toilet huh

anyway i'm done using the site. like, done done. i don't even wanna announce streams and shit there anymore. it's depressing and empty and smells like one of those rest stop bathrooms that hasn't seen a cleaning crew in like two months and has weird racist graffiti on the walls

It’s really bad. When I posted about being on the VGHF podcast there and on Mastodon, it got maybe half as much engagement on Twitter even though it got retweeted by the VGHF’s 60k follower account. Like, ouch! I don’t care about numbers really but I don’t think I’d realized how much of a ghost town Twitter had become

Yeah i noticed when sharing stuff for mystery dungeon day even my general posts were not getting seen. Still saw some cool stuff but even then lots less was shared compared to last year.

The transphobia there is also just, peak awfulness and I didn’t even wanna vent about my lrg vinyl wait because there’s a weird nerd who autoreplies to every. last. tweet. Mentioning LRG with deadnaming a trans woman and calling them a pedo (because they called out a transphobic community manager in like, January and this alt right idiot is somehow still mad about that 9 months later) and the for you timeline just shows me people arguing with alt right idiots and I want nothing to do with it anymore lol

My twitter is basically just a glorified switch share account at this point
