Twitch silently removed the ability to customize the appearance of power-ups, presumably because people kept using icons like these. i guess we struck a nerve!
you might have noticed that this also means you can't remove a previously-uploaded icon, so i hope you didn't change it to something embarrassing or offensive in a fit of rebellion!
Love it when Twitch implements new features that seem solely designed to make both the streamer and the viewer's experience even more deeply obnoxious.

Changing icons has been disabled since around July 25th, based on comments in the UserVoice thread. It makes the inability to change the icon but lack of an actual response from Twitch ~2 months later even more infuriating. I changed the icons on my channel in a similar way, and I'm still mad but not surprised at how slimy and short-sighted Twitch has been about the whole thing.
between this and the Knock garbage Twitch sure seems focused on pissing everyone off today
i have a lot of concerns about the future of this platform and none of this is helping!!
