it's been pestering me nearly non-stop to switch browsers every time i open it to watch a Twitch stream, so i decided to look for a way to shut it up. not only does it hide the option to disable the nag box (in "Experiments", natch, so don't count on it to stick around), it has a wide range of options you can choose from to control how aggressive it is. check out that fucking "Enabled - For Testing" option, which apparently nags you again after five minutes!

Google really is determined to drag us kicking and screaming back into the IE era, aren't they?

It's part of why I'm such a big Firefox booster, for all its problems. I think also seeing chrome balloon up to using 36gb of ram on a single tab (on my work Mac) is also what made me realize I never want this shit on my personal machine.
