Gregor is a Venusian worker and a staple of the Titan Garden dockyards. A member of the Titan Dockworkers Union, Gregor is the docks' Fire Marshal and he takes his job very seriously. With all the starship propulsion fuels being used, all the chemicals being imported, all the electrical wiring woven into a station that is surrounded by lakes of liquid methane one would think a place like Titan was a tinderbox waiting to go up in flames, but thanks to Gregor everything stays well under control. His bossy, rules-oriented personality is well suited to the role, as not even the idea of "just having fun" crosses Gregor's mind ahead of the potential fire and safety hazards that could occur from that fun in his dockyards. Crews on the docks have taken to calling him "The Safety Bug" on account of him coming around to bug them about boring ol' safety protocols.
Gregor's specific professional expertise is in chemical engineering. More than just a ceremonial custodian of rules, Gregor not only understands the myriad potential fire risks on the station, but he's also concocted fast and effective counter-measures to put out those fires before they can spread. Whether it's normal fire, electrical fire, grease fires, plasma fires, fuel fires, what have you, Gregor's cooked up a chemical compound that neutralizes the fuel for that type of fire and extinguishes it quickly. He carries a set of large grenade-like canisters; these are his special safety foam dispensers, if he's present for a flash emergency he can pull the pin, throw the grenade and it will expand into a very, very large swell of soothing non-toxic foam all-encompassing enough to put out most common types of fires. Gregor's foam grenades can also be used to slow and stop runaway trucks or catch people running towards danger, they're quite versatile and very safe, and if you happen to find yourself enmeshed in a foam burst you're due for a lecture from Gregor before he releases the counteragent to dissolve the foam and let you out.
While he has a reputation for being a stickler for safety, Gregor is also well-known for his cooking. He takes to the kitchen in the same way he takes to chemistry, being very exacting and precise with his ingredient mixtures. His cooked meal dishes feel like they lack a certain something that comes from a more heart-felt approach to the kitchen but his pastries and baked goods are immaculate. He bakes cakes with the exact right amount of frosting, his cookies are the perfect balance between soft and firm, his bread is picturesque. Everyone's got jokes about The Safety Bug but when he comes through with a batch of baked goods everyone comes out of their ships and shops with their hands out. The first thing they get in those hands is a disinfecting wipe. He doesn't know where those hands have been, and if they're looking to reach into his plastic container they're gonna be clean of contaminants first. The man is nothing if not consistent.
