Releasing a fun little project I've been putting together.

Akai Katana's one of my all-time fave Cave shmups, and I also love the really cool FM synth soundtrack arrange CD they made for it. The original compuser, Ryu Umemoto, first got famous for the amazingly good FM synth music he did on the PC-98 - stuff like Yu-No, Eve Burst Error, etc. His original score for Akai Katana is more rock-focused, but when they released an arrange CD he did it up as an FM synth arrangement like his older work mixed with some of the newer synths and musical style he'd used in the original game. Except... for some reason, they released it as a CD, but never actually made a version where you can actually play with that version of the soundtrack? It's weird. But I realized, hey, the game's on PC now. I can mod the files easy. Why not just fix that myself?

I open sourced the tool for extracting and repackaging the music along with instructions on how to mod your copy.
