This was gonna be a side note, but it’s longer than my original thought already: DVS was awesome. I had a great time, and I was blown away by how many people have come together around kinky, queer, furry, surprisingly wholesome villainy. I’m proud of y’all. More than once, it made me wonder how a new creator is supposed to get noticed at all, but then I had another thought: as someone who just writes and draws for fun, that’s not the point. The point (for me) is to make friends, to help your friends who are relying on the community, and to just have fun exploring and creating this world through the imaginary one we create together. There’s so much potential in the furry fandom generally and in the Korps specifically. We raised literally over 9000 pounds this weekend. Wouldn’t it be rad if we could actually help each other help more people in the real world?
