Unfortunately, most rabbits, including both of mine, find being picked up or held to be very frightening. Some will tolerate being swaddled in a towel, and Dude will sometimes tolerate a gentle hug as long as I’m petting him. And that’s the key. They love nothing more than a good head scritch, and if they really trust you, they’ll climb on you or lie against you, or let you gently rest against them. Just like these two snugglebunnies are doing right now 🖤
