This was basically me with my second rabbit. She warmed up to my first rabbit faster than she warmed up to me, and six months later, even though she lets me touch her now, she’s only okay with pets when we’re on opposite sides of the exercise pen fence. Sometimes rabbits are just skittish! And the more space and time you share, and the more room your little fuzzy bun has to run around in, the better :3
