I've got a Canonet G-III QL17 and it's not bad, but I don't find myself taking it out all that often.

Pros of the Canonet: relatively small, quiet, nice fast lens, quick to load, working light meter, solid build.

Cons: a little clunky, viewfinder patch isn't great, takes me a bit to focus, no meter in manual mode and shutter priority isn't my favorite, mercury battery replacements are more $$, only up to 800 iso for the meter/shutter priority, and mainly it just doesn't feel all that exciting to use

Anyone prefer other film rangefinders in a similar price range? Ive heard good things about the Olympus 35 Sp/Rc/etc, Konica c35 and s3, Yashica electro 35 gsn, and others. Obviously there are much nicer RFs out there with interchangeable lenses, but those are out of my price range.

What are your 35mm everyday carry picks and why?
