i read a lot of books (for me) this year so after goodreads generated a page about it, i thought it would be fun to make a collage of some of my favorites that i recommend

Oh I also read The Faggots & Their Friends and Sword Dance this year! And Memory Called Empire and She Who Became the Sun are some faves from previous years, too. Now I'm thinking I should check out the rest of this grid, clearly you've got great taste ✨
Ah you should definitely read Black Sun (& the sequel Fevered Star, which I'm currently reading). I wouldn't say it's at all similar to either the Teixcalaan series or She Who Became the Sun, but I do think if you liked those you'll enjoy it too. The rest of the list is manga and a really good memoir! So if you enjoy those as well, I definitely recommend them all!
