###The Cohost Global Feed

Let's pick through the potential posts still lingering. Many are separate on notepads and even a currently inaccessible phone, but now I'm looking mostly at the Drafts tab. Plenty of these are underbaked half-takes, so please only judge me a little.

  • Image Storage
  • A Sonic Villain Thought Experiment: "Try and think of how many Sonic the Hedgehog villains have working mouths. I'm not saying they don't exist, they absolutely do, but count how many don't."
  • A very long post where I nitpicked the ever-loving heck out of the state Sonic Superstars was released in, both the weird design choices and the many tiny glitches and flaws that could have been fixed but, so far, have not.
  • It's sad how there's this missing feeling of personal and unique websites, but clicking anything other than a trusted link a really, really bad idea right now.
  • The Fediverse Post, where I vented some of my frustrations about how alienating the interfaces and the people defending them can be despite trying to make it work for myself for years, and how many layers of restriction you have to go through to show anyone your work, especially if it's NSFW, because it's way more than you likely think.
  • A series of posts talking about old projects I worked on, from fan games and early game development, Poser and SFM work, to where I'm at now, and many of the unfinished ideas I had along the way but never pursued. Ralph the Fox, Road to Nowhere, Playable Con Badges, and so on, including stuff from my earlier days. This was going to be cathartic for me since I rarely talk about my life before a certain period, and this felt like the right place. Now I don't know if it's a fit for any place else.
  • Content Warning tagging pitch, to cover the most common CW situations viewers could opt into or out of (with attached text fields for details for the unsure). Wouldn't cover everything, but it did mean if eye contact or food didn't bother you, that post wasn't automatically blocked from your sight, but you could still keep out the spiders and spoilers.
  • A Steamed Hams reference where I was trying to see if I could stack Read Mores but end it with a John Cena gif
  • Another Fedi grumble about being told to pick your ideal server only for it to be Invite Only, I had Some Feelings
  • Lengthy thoughts on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, including how Sam Raimi seemed forced into directing like a parody of himself, I was pissed about them bringing in certain liked characters just because they were allowed to kill them off as "canon" fodder, plot nonsense, and even how the version of the characters in the gag reel is more likeable than the movie.
  • One day Nintendo will announce a Wii Classic, and just beforehand they'll copyright strike every video on YouTube using the Wii Shop Channel music. "They'd never!" They absolutely would. I don't look forward to it, I'm just playing Cassandra over here.
  • "But if I mount my microphone on an arm, won't my voice be upside down?"
  • This post. :eggbug-uwu:

And there's one more.

Remember to always be good to each other.

Remember that a better world is possible.

Remember the pain and mistakes, so they aren't repeated

Remember the love and community that grew from striving to be better.

Remember that we learn from failing, and this wasn't all for nothing.

Thank you all for everything, goodbye.

Alright. It's been really fun. I think it's time to make my final chost. So here it is.

READ STARS IN MY POCKET LIKE GRAINS OF SAND BY SAMUEL R. DELANY

It's literally so fucking good go and read it now. You like gay 1980s speculative fiction where humans and alien dragon people fuck freely right? Right???? Well it fucking exists and that's not even the half of it. One of my favorite books of all time. The amount of xenocultural information. The sheer scope of spectacle Delany presents for his universe of 6,000+ worlds. The notion that an erotic escapade can be life-changing in ways yet unimagined.

The prologue could by itself be a short story worthy of an award.... and the rest of the book is just amazing. It's like eating a rich, rich chocolate cake in just one sitting. Every bit as delicious and as painful and as nauseating. It's ambrosia.

Go read it. Go read it now.

And heh, goodnight cohost <3

I'll miss you. Thanks for everything :eggbug-smile-hearts:
