well, that's a bummer.
i'm gonna find a new home for vidrev. i think this is the impetus for me to finally invest in A Website but for now i might just migrate the posts to tumblr.
in the meantime, the best place to follow me is on mastodon @sarahzedig@shrike.club. i'm also on bluesky @hmsnofun but i don't particularly like the vibes over there so i don't use it often. i'm also active on tumblr, which is now the best place to send me anonymous asks. tumblr is also by far the best place to follow for godfeels updates and making-of posts.
naturally, i'm still making videos on youtube @letstalkaboutstuff. if you'd like to support my work monetarily (or just get updates whenever i release new things) you can find me on patreon and comradery.
expect another update before the read-only deadline once i've squared away vidrev's new home. thank you to everyone that's made cohost such a special place. i hope someday that a flexible platform like this which allows immense user freedom of expression through CSS, and that caters to community interests over corporate ones, can find a sustainable route to breaking even. let's keep our good memories and take hard lessons from the rest.
I guess my small contribution to cohost culture is having been quick to depict a canon form of tagslug when the opportunity presented itself, shortly after I joined
(which is to say, any form of tagslug, including:)
(remember when discord still seemed viable for quick and dirty image hosting, lemme just slap that screenshot up top)
very few of my posts here ever did severals, but I recognized a thing that had to be done, and doing the thing drew the attention of some Cool and Unexpected People, who followed me early on. it was Cool to have a few Cool People watching. they may still recognize me as a name they know for some reason/as a person on their feed, and now follow back elsewhere because I was on their feed here, even if they don't remember why and didn't interact much, because if a name is vaguely familiar, that means it's worth keeping an eye on, right
there was never a run of tagslug plushies or anything, but did you know that the ground outside gives real slugs away for free
rat lungworms can be pretty cuddly themselves
