There are other options out there as well. Blogger still exists if you don't mind using a Google service, Github has free basic website hosting if you are willing to program, and Dreamhost has a few paid Wordpress options that isn't associated with Wordpress.com's parent company. There are a bunch of services like Carrd.co and Linktree but I can't verify who is behind them. It is better to have something to start with than nothing at all.

hello cohost, you don't know me, but i probably know you, for i have been using this account to keep up with all the wonderful people who used this site

while i have never made a single post here until now, i have come to see cohost as a bit of a safe haven. it wasn't perfect sure, but i loved seeing the type of people who came here and all the css stuff going on

and now with cohost getting shut down i can't help but be upset that i never really got to join in on all the fun that was going on, and now i'll never get the chance

and it's upsetting cause it's not just cohost, it's all these little social things where i am nothing more than a silent observer, wishing to hop in but freeze up before i can

and it makes me wonder: is it too late for me to have any sort of online presence, what with sites either getting shut down or turned into garbage. because for all my anxiety, i don't want to just sit there and watch the world go by, i want to actually participate and make some meaningful connections. but i just can't bring myself to do it, and with me about to hit 30 next month (i know it's not that old but still) and the state of the internet.......i'm wondering if i'm out of chances

just take this as a lesson: if you see something good going on, don't be afraid to join in, cause you might never get another chance

sorry i never used cohost myself, did any css crimes, made any cool posts or made any friends, but just know that this website still meant a lot to me regardless

maybe i should finally make that neocities/nekoweb site i've been meaning to do....

(if you see a nitwatt anywhere else, it's most likely me. don't expect any stuff there though)

I've realised I'm coping by bingeing old internet.

Today's bandaid is junkfood and Homestarrunner.

Tomorrow, I might burrow into some nostalgic games.

I really hope we do something big and fun and exciting to send off Cohost later this month.
