daily knowledge:

Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road.
Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go.
So make the best of this test and don't ask why.
It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time.

It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right.
I hope you had the time of your life. ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฅš๐Ÿ›

I don't have much to say, really. I'm gonna miss Cohost.

I will say, this has convinced me that there is no ethical way to run social media long-term. ASSC did everything right, and it still wasn't enough.

To succeed in social media, you have to be a bastard about it. And maybe that's a sign there's something fundamentally wrong with the concept of social media at its core.

It was a fun two and a half years, and I'll deeply, deeply miss this site and everyone on it.

Also, FUCK STRIPE.

With a cactus.

The episode opens on the Simpson family on their iconic couch, looking somber. It's revealed that the all-mighty lord Matt Groening has ordered the imminent disappearance of all of Springfield. Understandably, they are quite sad about this development. However, they decide to make good use of the time they have left to reminisce on all of their Simpson misadventures.

The family takes to the streets of Springfield. Touring all of their favorite locations, they stop at places that are important to each of the family members. Homer stops at Krusty Burger, his favorite fine dining establishment, to pay his respects. Lisa breaks down in tears at Springfield Elementary in honor of all the A's she could have had. Bart beats the shit out of Principal Skinner, for old time's sake. Marge goes to the casino, in a cheeky reference to that one episode where she gets addicted to gambling. Maggie doesn't go anywhere.

Everyone meets back at the house, fully worn out from their long last day. Homer has one last beer. Bart has one last cow man. Lisa lets out one last somber note on her saxophone. Marge says one last "Homie". Maggie does one last nothing, because she is a baby.

As the camera slowly zooms out, showing the Simpsons sharing one last moment of unconditional love, a semi-truck zooms in from out of frame and hits them, making them all instantly dead. Matt Groening gets out and says "That's all, folks!", as a circle wipe zooms in on his face. And thus marks the end of the family Simpson.

SIMPSON SYNOPSIS FUN FACT! At the end of the credits for this episode, a message appears for one singular frame that says "This episode of The Simpsons was brought to you by @glotch." This message has not been able to be deciphered, even by the NSA's top codebreakers.
