i was genuinely having a good day until having ai shit that i never asked for shoved into a few simple google searches reminded me of how rich techbros will jump on something like a bitch in heat regardless of the damage it does to this world or its people so they can hoard amounts of money that cant even be comprehended to themselves and their egos alone

Of course, the issue in ^that particular case was that some ("some", optimistically speaking...) of them don't respect robots.txt in the first place, but that same person from that thread also linked an nginx config deny list with the IPs they're blocking, so there's also that (I guess likely to be outdated soon if not already(?) and I don't know if they plan on keeping it updated, but still)
