A wee gift I drew for myself. Turns out I share my birthday with some cool folk and characters! I also share my birthday with Gloria Estefan ๐ 31 and upwards ๐ฅ
Today would be the 80th birthday of my grandma, who passed away this year; She was a huge part of my art, as she procured many of the secondhand clothing and fabric scraps that i create outfits from.
We only got to do one photoshoot together; Frequent hospital stays and declining health prevented her from appearing in other shoots i planned for her.And yet, she stills remains a part of every costume i put together and every piece i do.

Fun fact, this particular headpiece was originally a vest/jacket that belonged to my mom's bridal outfit, while the jewel was a necklace from my grandma; The rest of the tunic was repurposed fabric scraps me and my grandma gathered.Three generations on this little look!
