Ok, hopefully will be releasing the OST video for "Wake up Magical Girl!" tomorrow! It's very exciting, just need to show how it looks and improve and such! :3

Also am preparing for Spooktober! Mostly mentally. XD Even though there isn't a huge amount to get ready with I somehow am nervous. Probably because it's such a big game jam and it feels like I gotta be perfectly prepared for it!

Since I'm going to try to post more, might as well write an introduction.

I'm Matt, originally from Saint Louis but currently in Kansas City. I'm a professional software developer with a hobby of photography and 3d printing. Sometimes these interests intersect.

I got a Sony a6000 in the spring of 2019 since it was the cheapest mirrorless interchangeable lens camera at the time, since I didn't know how well I would stick with it... and it turns out I did, upgrading to an a6400 body, and then the a6700 (which of course came out not long after I bought the a6400. Oh well).

I'm dipping my toe into astrophotography, mainly planets when I can see them, and the sun since I have filters. Who knows how much I'll stick with that.

Unfortunately due to burnout from a previous job, I don't code much as a hobby any more, though I should, there's things I want to do. In the past I made Twitter bots before Elmo dragged a sink into a building. The most well known ones were Prop65Bot, which was known to the State of California to cause cancer and reproductive harm, "Has the James Web Telescope launched" which provided daily updates for almost three years, if the JWST had launched, and "Monogatari Lines" for which I extracted the subtitle files for all of the then aired episodes of the Monogatari series (Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari, Kizumonogatari, etc), processed them to remove all of the things that fansub groups did to show off (because they loved showing off for that show, since it did a lot with typography in the first place), and then piloted ffmpeg to extract the frame in the middle of every spoken line of dialog or sign, or "Font used in this video: HGP Mincho B" in the show with the subtitle burned in, and then posted them, in order, every 20 minutes to Twitter. The bot had completed one full run through of the series and was starting Nisemonogatari again when things became a dumpster fire.

So things here? Probably mostly photographs. Some shitposting like my Three Saturn Moon. Maybe programming if I do something? Who knows.
