I was testing out running Clip Studio in Linux tonight. I was also testing out how much better my little NUC computer runs now without the bloat of Windows by streaming both my drawing and some music via the fat pig known as Spotify.
Pretty good. Far less strained than before. The computer isn't scalding hot at all!
Yay, Linux!
... I would like to say, but there are still a lot of issues to get ironed out like tool preference windows always disappearing behind all of the other windows. A big pain since I was also trying to adjust some of my brush setting from the defaults as I drew. Also, the virtual Windows file system is deep inside a mile of folders and sub folders and finding the actual art to post is a bit of a pain.
That one has been somewhat fixed now, obviously since you're looking at the drawing.
Ah, well. No one said going off grid would be easy.
